My name is Tanya M. Henderson I am an independent author, a photographer, and singer-songwriter. I also write Screenplays
I have always had a passion for writing. I remember when I was in school I enjoyed writing. My first story for school I wrote was called 'The Killing Ship' the story was a murder mystery. I enjoy writing because I can make a story world the way I envision it to be. I create my characters the way that I see them and meet them. If I don't like them, I can kill them off, I am only kidding. I love all of my characters in my stories.
I have been singing since I was very young. When I was 6 years old I was singing in our church. I have been singing ever since. I was in a couple of bands when I was in my twenties. Now I mostly sing in shows and make music with my friend RexRed.
I have always loved photography since I had my first camera which was a Polaroid. I take photos of events, parties, people and animals. I really enjoy taking photos of wildlife.
Here is a little about the life that I live. My house is in the mountains in Golden, Colorado. I live with my husband Sam and our two cats Merlin and Isis. It really helps me when I am writing to be able to look out my window and see the mountains. Sometimes when I am writing Merlin and Isis comes into the office with me. When I am writing I like to listen to music, it inspires me. Music also keeps me in the story world for the book I am writing.
When I need a break from writing, I like to sing and write songs. When I only take a short break I will play with the cats. When I need a longer break I practice playing my guitar, or work on my photography.
